Pour ce faire, les composants physiques (micro-processeur Zilog Z80A, connecteurs, r\u00e9solution graphique 256 x 192, 16 couleurs, port cartouche&#8230;) et logiciels (langage BASIC MICROSOFT) sont communs \u00e0 l&#8217;ensemble des ordinateurs r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 la norme MSX. Les principales machines fabriqu\u00e9es sous ce standard sont le fait de PHILIPS et de quelques constructeurs japonais (SONY, CANON, YASHICA&#8230;). Les lecteurs de disquette, encore co\u00fbteux, ont pris une part de plus en plus importante au fil du temps.
